I found this very cool looking game in development by Red5 studios (a new company, this will be their first game).

Never the less, the company has some pedigree, with one (or more, not sure) of the devs working on the Tribes series of games (jetpacks, skiing down hills at insane speeds, remember?). This shows in the game as well, with the aforementioned jetpacks making an appearance, along with weapons awfully familiar to some of the Tribes weapons. The vehicles movement reminds me of how vehicles in Tribes move as well, the gameplay video clearly showing a troop carrier moving like the ones in Tribes.

The interesting thing about it is that its a coop MMOFPS, with players working together to achieve objectives and such in a dynamic open world. It looks to be a very fun game, and if it is anything like Tribes I will definitely enjoy it.

The best thing about it (depends on how you look at it) is that the game is a free to play game model, with players buying things from the gamestore to access certain content to fund the game. The devs were adamant about saying that they wont have buyable items that can upset game balance in any way.

There is a beta coming soon, to sign up for it you simply register on their forums on the above link, automatically putting you down for access to the beta later. I have signed up for it, and I hope that some of you do too, as this game would be awesome to play with friends.

Looks like fun, looks pretty good for an MMOFPS thing.

Its a copy of borderlands? But worse! looks like a kids game. Ill die before someone see's me playing that.

Its just cel shading, you are acting like you haven't seen it before. I would say the visual style is somewhere in between WoW and Borderlands.

Ohrite it's an MMO?

Lame. That just means we'll lag hardcore. For a game with shooter elements that's a killer =S

It has elements of an MMO, but it is not entirely like that. It is much more of an action/fps than anything else. I suppose my description of an MMOFPS was a bit misleading.

I was looking at the gameplay. Lots of pairs of random people scattered around, and people on the forums there talked about subscription fees.
Still, looks like fun =]

The visuals killed me though the gameplay looks good. Methinks I shall play.

It's great to see more people signing up for the game. This thing deserves the attention.

It might be my new gaming craze, it has to be the first that has excited me as much as Warband did in recent days. We will see when it comes out.

Yes the game is F2P with micro transactions. srsly read some info on the game.
